Acer Palmatum 'Mikawa Yatsubusa' (Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple) is a highly sought-after dwarf Japanese maple known for its dense, layered foliage and compact growth habit. The leaves emerge bright green in spring, creating a lush, full appearance. As the seasons change, the foliage takes on golden-yellow and orange hues in autumn, adding a spectacular display of colour. Its naturally sculptural form makes it an excellent choice for bonsai, rock gardens, and small garden spaces.
This slow-growing maple thrives in well-drained soil and benefits from a position with morning sun and afternoon shade to prevent leaf scorch. Due to its unique foliage arrangement and compact size, Mikawa Yatsubusa is ideal for container planting and adds year-round interest to any landscape.
